Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
This is a starting point, not a final legal document. It was drafted to accurately describe what this app actually does with data as of today, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Replace this page — or have it reviewed — before relying on it as your actual policy.
What we collect
- Account data — your name and email, handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
- Contact data you enter — names, companies, titles, emails, phone numbers, and notes for the people you add to Follow Up Fast, plus reminders and any materials (files, links, offers) you create.
- Business card images — only if you explicitly check “Keep a copy of this business card image” when scanning a card. If you don't check that box, the image is used only to extract contact details and is not stored.
- Voice recordings — when you use Speak Contact, your recording is sent to our transcription provider (OpenAI) to extract contact details and is not stored by us afterward; only the resulting text is saved.
- Billing data — if you upgrade to Plus, payment is handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details, only your subscription status.
- Push notification tokens — if you enable push reminders, a device token is registered with OneSignal.
- Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregate product usage (e.g. which features are used) via Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across other sites.
How we use it
To operate the core product: storing your contacts and reminders, sending reminder notifications (push via OneSignal, or email via Resend as a fallback), processing subscription billing, and extracting contact details from business cards or voice notes you choose to capture. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers above, each processing data solely to provide their specific function: Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database and file storage), OpenAI (business card and voice transcription), Stripe (billing), OneSignal (push notifications), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel (hosting and anonymous analytics).
Your data, your control
You can download a full copy of your data at any time from Settings → Your data. You can delete your account and all associated data — contacts, reminders, materials, and any stored business card images — via the account menu. Deleting your account is permanent and can't be undone.
